The Port Gibson Blue Waves edged the host Natchez Bulldogs football team by a score of 48-42 in Monday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Waves face the Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Port Gibson will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
With the defeat, Natchez drops to 0-1 on the campaign.
