The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) and the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), observed Starr's Mill's softball team get by LaGrange by a tally of 7-2.

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Callaway was routed by Bowdon (Bowdon, GA), 8-5, in a non-league contest.

The Grangers now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Fayette County for a contest on Tuesday, September 9.
