The Richfield Spartans soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Brooklyn Center Centaurs to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anthony Village for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 10. Richfield will face a Huskies team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 3-3.
The Centaurs (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Tigers enter the Class A Section 5 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Fridley was overwhelmed by DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN), 4-0, in a non-league game.
