New Mexico High School Soccer - Cottonwood Classical Prep nudges Valley

September 8, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87109

The Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM) soccer edged the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1 in Monday's non-league contest.

Next, the Coyotes battle the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Cottonwood Classical Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 6-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM).

The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Rio Grande was nipped by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
