Spectators at Monday's non-league outing between the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA) and the visiting Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), observed Greensburg Salem's soccer squad triumph over Ligonier Valley by a score of 5-0.

The Golden Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA). The Vikings come into the test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Mt. Pleasant edged Yough (Herminie, PA), 3-2, in a league test.

The Rams now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to McGuffey for a WPIAL AA 3 test on Thursday, September 11. Ligonier Valley will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-1.
