The Harnett Central Trojans edged the host Midway Raiders soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Trojans now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they host South Johnston for a Carolina Pines 6A challenge on Wednesday, September 10. Harnett Central will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Central (Winterville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Midway moves to 6-1 on the year. The Raiders host Triton (Erwin, NC) to face the Hawks in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11. The Hawks enter the contest with a record of 0-5. Triton lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Lee County (Sanford, NC)
