The Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) softball the host Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), 6-3 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chickasha for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Blanchard will meet a Fighting Chicks squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK). The Fighting Chicks record now stands at 5-4.

The Owls (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Duncan (Duncan, OK). The Demons go into the 5A District 1 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Duncan held off MacArthur (Lawton, OK), 11-0, in a league outing.
