The Waukomis Chiefs triumphed over the host Covington-Douglas Wildcats softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Chiefs now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hennessey for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Waukomis will confront a Eagles team coming off a 21-1 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Covington-Douglas moves to 0-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Carney (Carney, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a Class B battle on Friday, September 12. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 10-5. Carney won 4-3 in their recent league battle against Glencoe (Glencoe, OK)
