The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Wetumka Chieftains (Wetumka, OK) and the visiting New Lima Falcons (New Lima, OK), observed Wetumka's softball team get by New Lima by a tally of 6-3.

The Chieftains (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Beggs (Beggs, OK). The Demons go into the non-league bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Beggs was routed by Kiefer (Kiefer, OK), 10-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Stonewall Longhorns (Stonewall, OK) in a Class A bout, on Tuesday, September 9. New Lima will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Konawa (Konawa, OK).
