The Sequoyah Indians softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Quapaw Wildcats to 3 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.

The Indians now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westville for a 3A battle on Tuesday, September 9. Sequoyah will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 13-3 league win over Keys (Park Hill, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Quapaw moves to 5-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Adair (Adair, OK) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 15-8. Adair won 10-1 in their recent non-league battle against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK)
