In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Glendale Prep Academy Griffins volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes.

The Griffins (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Fountain Hills edged Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes play the North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Arizona Lutheran Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Gladiators come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ).
