Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) and the visiting Greenbrier Panthers (Greenbrier, AR), observed Benton's volleyball team top Greenbrier by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado (El Dorado, AR). The Wildcats enter the 5A South contest with a 1-2 record.

Next, the Panthers meet the Beebe Badgers (Beebe, AR) in a 5A Central battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Greenbrier will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Badgers go into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Parkview (Little Rock, AR).
