In Monday's non-league contest, the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) volleyball team defeated the visiting William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), by a count of 3-0.

The Bees (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils go into the Seminole battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Rustburg achieved victory over Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

The Generals now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood battle on Tuesday, September 9. William Campbell will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
