The Casey County Rebels volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln County Patriots to 2 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rebels now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset for a District 47 game on Tuesday, September 9. Casey County will confront a Briar Jumpers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian Academy (Lexington, KY). The Briar Jumpers record now stands at 8-2.

The Patriots (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Rebels go into the District 45 game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Boyle County was edged by West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
