Arizona High School Volleyball - Catalina Foothills edged by Marana

Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Catalina Foothills Falcons (Tucson, AZ), 3-2 in a non-league test.

The Tigers (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain View (Tucson, AZ). The Mountain Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Mountain View nudged Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ironwood Ridge for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Catalina Foothills will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-5.
