The Wayne Hills Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Clifton Mustangs to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Passaic Valley for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. Wayne Hills will face a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Indians go into the North Jersey Tri-County B game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Passaic went down by DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
