In Monday's non-league challenge, the host DePaul Catholic Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Passaic Indians.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Blue Eagles go into the Big North - United test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Immaculate Heart Academy was defeated by NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clifton for a North Jersey Tri-County B test on Wednesday, September 10. Passaic will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
