In Monday's non-league bout, the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) volleyball team knocked off the host Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA), by a margin of 3-1.

The Vikings now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Juniata Valley for a Inter-County - North bout on Tuesday, September 9. Glendale will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Branch (Morrisdale, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Mount Union drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA) to clash with the Rockets in a Inter-County - East bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 4-1.
