North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mountain Island Charter crushed by Kings Mountain

The Kings Mountain Mountaineers prevailed the host Mountain Island Charter Raptors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 5A/6A game, on Tuesday, September 9. Kings Mountain will attempt to advance on its 14-1 season record.

The Raptors (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles come into the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy was topped by Carolina International (Concord, NC), 3-0, in a league outing.
