In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Weston-McEwen TigerScots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the McLoughlin Pioneers.

The TigerScots (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant Union (John Day, OR). The Prospectors come into the 2A Blue Mountain challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Grant Union beat Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Umatilla Vikings (Umatilla, OR) in a 3A Eastern Oregon challenge, on Thursday, September 11. McLoughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Riverside (Boardman, OR).
