In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Saegertown Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the West Middlesex Big Reds.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Slippery Rock beat Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Big Reds face the Rocky Grove Orioles (Franklin, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 test, on Tuesday, September 9. West Middlesex will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Orioles go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Reynolds (Greenville, PA).
