In Monday's non-league challenge, the host West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Woodbridge Barrons.

The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Thomas Aquinas was nudged by Edison (Edison, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Barrons play the East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Woodbridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ).
