Texas High School Football - A&M Consolidated knocked off by Lufkin

Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX), 31-17 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lufkin improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Longview (Longview, TX) to battle the Lobos in a 5A-1 Region II District 7 test on Friday, September 16. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 3-0. Longview won 69-0 in their recent non-league test against Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX)

With the loss, A&M Consolidated drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A-1 Region III District 11 test on Friday, September 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-1. Georgetown lost 49-35 in their recent non-league test against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX)
