Alabama High School Football - Ardmore defeats Lawrence County

In Friday's league match, the host Ardmore Tigers football squad scored a good 24-8 victory over the Lawrence County Red Devils.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 23. Ardmore will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.

The Red Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Brewer (Somerville, AL). The Patriots enter the 5A Region 8 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Brewer ran past East Limestone (Athens, AL), 27-21, in a league match.
