The North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) football defeated the host Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA), 31-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Lancers face the Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 16. North Scott will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Saints enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 40-7 non-league win over Wahlert (Dubuque, IA).
