The Banner County Wildcats held off the visiting Minatare Indians football team by a count of 26-20 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Banner County upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Potter-Dix (Potter, NE) to confront the Coyotes in a D6 District 5 (6 Man) outing on Friday, September 23. The Coyotes go into the outing with a record of 3-0.

With the loss, Minatare moves to 1-2 on the season. The Indians host Cody-Kilgore (Cody, NE) to confront the Cowboys/Cowgirls in a D6 District 6 (6 Man) outing on Friday, September 23. The Cowboys/Cowgirls go into the outing with a record of 2-1.
