The Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC) football nudged the host Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 16. Whale Branch will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC).
The Bobcats (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Allendale-Fairfax (Fairfax, SC). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Allendale-Fairfax was nudged by Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC), 32-8, in a league bout.
