The Blum Bobcats football team (Blum, TX), was beaten 50-22 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Gorman Panthers (Gorman, TX)

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Strawn (Strawn, TX). The Greyhounds come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Strawn was beaten by Gordon (Gordon, TX), 52-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson County Sports Association for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15. Blum will meet a Lions team coming off a 46-0 league loss to Westlake Academy (Westlake, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
