South Carolina High School Football - Broome held off by Union County

In Friday's non-league game, the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) football team tipped the host Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC), by a final score of 32-27.

The Yellowjackets (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Laurens (Laurens, SC). The Raiders come into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Laurens was tipped by Chapman (Inman, SC), 24-21, in a non-league game.

The Centurions now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berea for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Broome will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
