In Friday's non-league match, the host Klamath Union Pelicans football squad scored a good 46-30 victory over the Burns Hilanders.
In their next game, the Pelicans clash with the Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR) in a 4A Special District 4 match, on Friday, September 16. Klamath Union will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 54-0 non-league win over Newport (Newport, OR).
The Hilanders (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Braves enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Modoc thwarted Quincy (Quincy, CA), 27-13, in a league match.
