The Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) football routed the host Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS), 45-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 16. Clarkdale will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 22-6 non-league win over Pisgah (Sandhill, MS).
The Gators (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ethel (Ethel, MS). The Tigers enter the 1A Region 3 bout with a 2-1 record.
