In Friday's league game, the Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI) football team knocked off the visiting Onsted Wildcats (Onsted, MI), by a final score of 34-20.
The Golden Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Clinton (Clinton, MI). The Redwolves come into the Lenawee County game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Clinton toppled Ida (Ida, MI), 18-6, in a league game.
The Wildcats now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dundee for a Lenawee County game on Friday, September 16. Onsted will battle a Vikings team coming off a 14-7 league win over Blissfield (Blissfield, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
