The Westwood Wildcats football team (Camilla, GA), was beaten 26-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA)

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Windsor Academy (Macon, GA). The Knights come into the GIAA 8-Man Region 2 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Windsor Academy achieved victory over Covenant Academy (Macon, GA), 51-8, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Baker County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 22. Westwood will meet a Bears team coming off a 36-32 non-league loss to Vidalia Heritage Academy (Vidalia, GA). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.
