With the triumph, Deer Creek improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Humphreys Academy (Belzoni, MS) to confront the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 0-1. Humphreys Academy lost 44-0 in their recent league test against North Sunflower Academy (Drew, MS)

With the loss, West Memphis Christian drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Black knights host Lee Academy (Marianna, AR) to confront the Cougars in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 1 (8 Man) test on Friday, September 16. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-1. Lee Academy won 51-6 in their recent non-league test against Marvell Academy (Marvell, AR)
