In Friday's league match, the host South Umpqua Lancers football squad scored a big 61-6 victory over the Douglas Trojans.
In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) in a 3A Special District 3 match, on Friday, September 16. South Umpqua will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Special District 3 match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Sutherlin was crushed by Cascade Christian (Medford, OR), 54-6, in a league match.
