Texas High School Football - Smithson Valley smashes East Central

September 9, 2022: San Antonio, TX 78263

The Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) football routed the host East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX), 45-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rangers face the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A-1 Region III District 12 bout, on Friday, September 16. Smithson Valley will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 42-41 non-league win over San Marcos (San Marcos, TX).

The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Del Rio (Del Rio, TX). The Rams enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Del Rio was crushed by Leander (Leander, TX), 38-32, in a non-league bout.
