The Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher Storm topped the visiting Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils football team by a count of 28-12 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Storm travel to Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] (Turtle Lake, ND) to confront the Cougars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 16. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 3-0.
