The Unicoi County Blue Devils walloped the host Happy Valley Warriors football team by a final score of 41-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Unicoi County improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Blue Devils host Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 1 outing on Friday, September 16. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Claiborne lost 70-35 in their recent non-league outing against Northview Academy (Kodak, TN)

With the loss, Happy Valley moves to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Hampton (Hampton, TN) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 1 outing on Friday, September 16. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Hampton won 38-6 in their recent non-league outing against Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN)
