The Mantachie Mustangs football team (Mantachie, MS), was ripped 60-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS)
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Belmont was ripped by Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS), 61-28, in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thrasher for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Mantachie will meet a Rebels team coming off a 19-12 non-league loss to Myrtle (Myrtle, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
