The Indianola Academy Colonels football team (Indianola, MS), was ripped 46-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host St. Joseph Fighting Irish (Greenville, MS)

The Fighting Irish (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carroll Academy (Carrollton, MS). The Rebels come into the MAIS 4A District 2 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Carroll Academy was ripped by Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS), 34-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Colonels now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Indianola Academy will meet a Generals team coming off a 39-6 league loss to Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Generals record now stands at 1-2.
