In Friday's non-league game, the Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) football team knocked off the visiting Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH), by a score of 30-19.
The The Pride (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Plymouth (Plymouth, NH). The Bobcats come into the Division II - East game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Plymouth was dropped by Bow (Bow, NH), 28-18, in a non-league game.
The Sachems now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennett for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Laconia will battle a Eagles team coming off a 56-21 league win over Pembroke (Pembroke, NH). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
