In Friday's league game, the Larimore Polar Bears (Larimore, ND) football team smashed the host Midway/Minto Mustangs (Inkster, ND), by a score of 74-8.

The Polar Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Cavalier (Cavalier, ND). The Tornadoes come into the 9-Man Region 3 (9 Man) game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Cavalier overwhelmed Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] (Lakota, ND), 30-20, in a league game.

The Mustangs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Four Winds for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Midway/Minto will battle a Indians team coming off a 42-14 league loss to New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.
