In Friday's non-league game, the Magdalena Steers (Magdalena, NM) football team knocked off the visiting Logan Longhorns (Logan, NM), by a final score of 32-20.

The Steers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Fort Sumner/House toppled Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM), 66-12, in a non-league game.

The Longhorns now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mesilla Valley Christian School for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Logan will battle a SonBlazers team coming off a 40-28 non-league win over Menaul (Albuquerque, NM). The SonBlazers record now stands at 1-2.
