The Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) football edged the visiting MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA), 28-22 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Green Devils face the Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) in a 2A District 3 bout, on Friday, September 16. Osage will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 28-20 non-league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA).
The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors enter the 1A District 4 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Columbus nudged Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA), 21-7, in a non-league bout.
