The Chickasaws now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura for a 2A District 3 battle on Friday, September 16. New Hampton will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 34-7 non-league loss to Algona (Algona, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) in a 2A District 4 battle, on Friday, September 16. Oelwein will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The J-Hawks enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 72-19 non-league loss to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA).
