The Pleasanton Blu-Jays football squad scored 44 points and restricted the host Northeast Vikings to 6 in the Blu-Jays non-league victory on Friday.

The Blu-Jays now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a non-league battle on Friday, September 16. Pleasanton will play a Dragons squad coming off a 23-20 non-league loss to Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Quapaw Wildcats (Quapaw, OK) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 16. Northeast will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 29-22 non-league win over Galena (Galena, KS).
