The Mountaineers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Blanket (Blanket, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Blanket trounced Eden (Eden, TX), 50-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host The Christian School at Castle Hills for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Nueces Canyon will meet a Eagles team coming off a 66-18 non-league win over St. Augustine (Laredo, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
