Virginia High School Football - Staunton overwhelms Page County

September 9, 2022: Staunton, VA 24401

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) and the visiting Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA), observed Staunton's football squad bounce Page County by a count of 35-2.

The Storm now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Staunton will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 34-2 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA) in a Shenandoah contest, on Friday, September 16. Page County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 43-7 league win over Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).
