Texas High School Football - Pecos knocked off by Sweetwater

September 9, 2022: Sweetwater, TX 79556

Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), 32-16 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Sweetwater improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Big Spring (Big Spring, TX) to battle the Steers in a non-league test on Friday, September 16. The Steers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Big Spring won 24-20 in their recent non-league test against Monahans (Monahans, TX)

With the loss, Pecos drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Stanton (Stanton, TX) to battle the Buffaloes in a non-league test on Friday, September 16. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 1-2. Stanton lost 34-14 in their recent non-league test against Forsan (Forsan, TX)
