Texas High School Football - Penelope overwhelms Trinidad

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Penelope Wolverines (Penelope, TX) and the visiting Trinidad Trojans (Trinidad, TX), observed Penelope's football squad bounce Trinidad by a count of 56-7.

The Wolverines now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Iredell for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Penelope will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 50-0 non-league win over Mullin (Mullin, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the Avalon Eagles (Avalon, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 16. Trinidad will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 48-41 non-league loss to Coolidge (Coolidge, TX).
